Ken Miller Excavating caters to the residential and commercial needs of the area by offering services such as residential septic design/installation, municipal watermain and sewer reconstruction, civil site work for commercial projects.

We can fulfill your construction needs either by contract or equipment rental, time and material basis as per your preference. Previous contract locations have spread from Kingston to Cornwall and as far north as Ottawa.

RESIDENTIAL

We are a licensed installer of septic systems, both conventional and filter media beds. As well we perform on-site waste water treatment systems meeting tertiary quality criteria. Repairs or replacements to existing septic systems can also be done to meet all Health Unit and Environmental requirements.

Our residential work includes:

  • Foundation excavation

  • Initial site grading

  • Utility trenching

  • Backfilling

  • Final grading

  • Driveways (granular)

  • Supply of materials (granular, topsoil, sand and fill)

  • Slab preparation

  • Pool excavation

Our company operates with a large fleet of equipment of various sizes, including: excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, ride-on-packers, graders, trucks (tandem/tri-axle/end and belly dumps) and water trucks.
